Follow these steps to get the most out of Rodeo
Upload your CV
Start by heading to the Home tab and uploading your CV.This is the foundation of how Rodeo works. Rather than asking you to fill out endless fields, Rodeo reads your CV and extracts your experience, skills, and background automatically. It uses this information to build your profile and, later, to match you with relevant opportunities.A few things worth noting:
- Use the most recent version you have, even if it’s not fully polished.
- Only PDF format is supported at the moment.
- You can update or refine your profile at any point. The goal here is simply to give Rodeo a solid starting point.
Choose your career path
With your background in place, the next step is to tell Rodeo where you want to go.You’ll be asked to select the career paths or ambitions that interest you. That might mean continuing on your current trajectory, exploring a different direction entirely, or keeping a few options open while you weigh things up.This matters because Rodeo isn’t a conventional job board. It uses your stated ambitions to shape the opportunities it surfaces, so what you see is aligned with where you actually want to head, not just where you’ve already been. It’s worth being honest with yourself at this stage. Choose the paths that genuinely interest you rather than defaulting to the obvious. You can revisit and adjust these at any time.
Set your job search preferences
Now it’s time to get specific. You’ve given Rodeo the big picture - your background and your ambitions. This step narrows that down into a practical, focused search.Chat to Rodeo to set your preferences for things like location, remote or on-site working, salary expectations, company size, and industry. The more precise you are, the more relevant your matches will be. We recommend the voice call for this stage as it’s a lot quicker and easier to say what’s on your mind rather than hitting the keyboard.
