This is where it all begins. A workforce contains workers who have all met a pre-configured set of requirements, chosen by you as outlined below. Creating a workforce will generate a ‘job’ with an application flow designed to ensure that when someone completes it, they have met your requirements. Configure the requirements of the workers you need in your workforce. For someone to apply to your workforce, they must satisfy the requirements you choose here. Bear in mind that the more requirements you add, the fewer applicants you will get.

Details

  • Workforce name: enter a name for your workforce.
  • Location: select the location where this workforce will operate.
  • Description: add any other information about the role, as you would in a job description.
  • Min. fees / Max. fees: Enter the minimum and maximum fees.
  • Rate: Set the pay rate (per hour, day, month, or year).

Requirements

  • Add any requirements that people must meet in order to apply.
  • Verified identity and Right to Work (UK) are default and mandatory.
  • This section is fully customisable but the following requirements are standard: drivers license, NI number, proof of address, minimum age, bank details, UTR number, DBS (background check) and vehicle insurance.
  • If you have vehicle requirements you can also add those here. Options include: bicycle, car, cargo bike, van and motorbike.

Onboarding

  • Choose the onboarding tasks applicants will be expected to complete before they are added to the workforce. Options include:
    • Phone/video call
    • Online training
    • On-site training
    • Toxicology test
    • Sign contract

Confirm details

  • Click “Confirm and publish” to finish.
  • This publishes the workforce allowing people to apply.
